Umiguard K150 is an efficient broad-spectrum bactericidal preservative, which is used to protect waterborne industrial products from infection by bacteria, yeasts and molds. This product is a compound product of chloromethyl isothiazolinone and methyl isothiazolinone, which has good compatibility for systems that are easy to demulsify and can ensure the stability of emulsion and water-based coatings.

Application：

Our initial work indicates that Umiguard K150 is effective in latices and polymer solutions, Paints and stains, adhesives, Aqueous Mineral Slurries, Building Materials, Pigments, Pesticide formulations.

It has good compatibility for systems that are easy to demulsify, and can ensure the stability of lotion and water-based paint systems.

Umiguard BCI is broad spectrum preservative for the protection of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It is a formulation of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) and a 3:1 blend of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CMIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT) that has been specially formulated to provide good preservation at levels of 0.17% and below.
