Mica Based Effect Pigment

Mica-based effect pigments are professional colorants based on natural mica minerals or Synthetic Mica that can create a variety of visual effects, including metallic luster, pearlescent luster, and iridescent effects. Mica-based effect pigments from China AAB Group are widely used in automotive coatings, architectural coatings, industrial coatings, cosmetics, printing inks, plastics, textiles,  cosmetic and other industrial fields.

Pearlescent pigments Interference series (also classified as nacreous or special effect pigments) are platelet-based colorants that produce angle-dependent optical effects through controlled light interference. Composed of layered substrates - typically natural mica, synthetic fluorphlogopite, or silica flakes - coated with precise thicknesses of metal oxides (TiO₂, Fe₂O₃, etc.). The pearlescent pigments from AAB Group exhibit unique:

• Luster enhancement - Soft metallic sheen resembling natural pearl.
• Iridescence - Color-shifting properties at varying viewing angles.
• Depth perception - Multidimensional visual texture.

Our production base covers 200,000 m2, with fully automated state-of-the-art production lines, annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of finished pearlescent pigments. We obtained ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System certification, and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification.
