In-Can Preservatives Umiguard BCI for industrial waterborne coatings

Umiguard BCI is broad spectrum preservative for the protection of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi.

It is a formulation of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) and a 3:1 blend of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CMIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT) that has been specially formulated to provide good preservation at levels of 0.17% and below.
