Kabasph® Self-polishing Resin SPCu-A100 is a medium molecular weight copper acrylate self-polishing polymer, engineered for versatile applications across diverse vessel types and adaptable formulation needs. This product can serve as the sole binder to deliver a reduced polishing rate and durable antifouling protection for high-speed deep-sea ships. It can also be blended with up to 50% rosin for use in coastal vessels and yachts, accommodating varying sailing speeds and operational conditions. Through adjustment of the polymer-to-rosin ratio, pigment volume concentration in the paint formulation, and coating hardness, SPCu-A100 enables a controllable polishing rate of 4 microns per month or higher. This ensures consistent and effective antifouling performance and fuel efficiency across different operating scenarios, while providing up to 3 years of antifouling protection, low VOC content, and stable coating polishing rates.

Umiguard MB5050 is effective in polymer emulsions, paints, adhesives, pigment dispersions and household products. Umiguard BCI is broad spectrum preservative for the protection of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It is a formulation of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) and a 3:1 blend of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CMIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT) that has been specially formulated to provide good preservation at levels of 0.17% and below.
