This series of additives for two-component polyurethane adhesives are specifically developed for two-component polyurethane (2K PU) systems and are suitable for applications such as two-component polyurethane adhesives, sealants, elastomers, floor coatings, and high-performance industrial systems. The product range covers five major categories—dispersants, anti-sinking thixotropic agents, wetting and levelling agents, defoamers, and tackifiers—providing a comprehensive additive solution for 2K PU formulations. It addresses key challenges including filler and carbon black dispersion, viscosity reduction, anti-settling and sag control, surface wetting on oily substrates, levelling, foam control, and adhesion to metal and non-metal surfaces, without adversely affecting curing speed, activation period, storage stability, or final film properties.

KabasphTwo-component polyurethane systems are widely used in coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, floor coatings, and industrial applications where fast cure, high mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance are essential. However, formulating with these systems presents unique challenges: filler and carbon black dispersion, viscosity control at high filler loading, settling and sagging during storage and application, insufficient substrate wetting—especially on oily or contaminated surfaces—surface defects such as craters and orange peel, foam generation that compromises film quality, and adhesion failure on metal and non-metal substrates. Additives must be carefully selected to maintain compatibility with both the polyol and isocyanate components without adversely affecting curing speed, activation period, pot life, storage stability, transparency, elongation, or final film properties.
