Copper Umiguard paste/Dispersion(CPT)

Copper Umiguard Antimicrobial Dispersion is a viscous dispersion of Copper Umiguard Antimicrobial powder, rosin, and 1,2-Dichlorobenzene. Currently Copper Umiguard Antimicrobial dispersion is sold in other parts of the world as a marine antifouling agent. Our Copper Umiguard paste/Dispersion(CPT) features for following advantage:

Application:

Marine Vessels: Ideal for use on boats, yachts, commercial ships, and other marine vessels. It is particularly effective in preventing the growth of barnacles, algae, and other fouling organisms on hulls, propellers, and underwater parts.

Offshore Structures: Suitable for offshore rigs, platforms, and other submerged infrastructure, offering protection against biofouling and the associated risks of corrosion and maintenance issues.

Anti-Fouling Paints: Can be incorporated into both primer and topcoat formulations to create complete anti-fouling paint systems, ensuring long-lasting protection from marine growth.

Coating Formulations: Perfect for use in the formulation of high-performance anti-fouling coatings, providing excellent biofouling resistance for new builds and maintenance coatings alike.

General properties:

• Exhibits pronounced growth inhibiting activity against a broad spectrum of both Gram negative and Gram-positive bacteria.

• Inhibits the growth of fungi, both yeast and mold.

• Is insoluble in water, about 1 ppm at pH 7.0

• Very low solubility in solvents, typically less than 10 ppm

• Inhibits the growth of algae

 Packaging & storage:

The package is 80kg stainless steel barrel with 20kg high density polyethylene bag inside.

Confined space shall be stored separately, and the warehouse shall be kept as dry as possible.
