Kabasph^®BBM is a polyacrylate-based texture modifier designed for creating hammer-tone effects in pure epoxy or epoxy-polyester hybrid powder coating systems. It can be easily incorporated via dry blending, with a recommended dosage range of 0.05%–2% (100–180 mesh). The optimal amount should be determined through testing based on the desired visual effect.

Kabasph^® BBM offers a reliable, flexible, and efficient texturing solution for powder coatings, with core advantages centered on process-friendliness, controllable effects, and cost-effectiveness.

The texture can be controlled by adjusting the dosage and particle size of our BBM: a higher dosage combined with a higher filler content typically produces a fine and clear pattern, while a lower dosage tends to create a larger and softer texture. Under the same dosage, finer and more uniform particles contribute to a delicate finish, whereas coarser particles help achieve a more pronounced visual effect. Please note that leveling agents should not be added to formulations containing BBM to ensure proper texture formation.

Keep in the cool and dry place, keep away from fire and heat.

To achieve best possible results, we recommend storage under the condition stated above and use within 12 months since production date. Seal the package well after using.
