Chloroether Resin MP35

Kabasph® Chloroether Resin MP35 is a copolymer of chloroether resin vinyl chloride and vinyl isobutyl ether, they can be used as base resins for air-drying coatings or other physical drying coatings. As base resins for heavy anti-corrosion coatings, they can replace chlorinated rubber. They have high "quality-price ratio" and environmental advantages, they are a good chlorinated binder. Used as an adhesive for steel structures, mineral substrates, plastics, shipbuilding and underwater applications, mechanical and automotive engineering, transportation, building protection, printing ink industry, and road marking coatings.Compatible with vinyl chloride copolymer, polyacrylate, unsaturated polyester resin, maleic acid resin, cyclohexanone resin, aldehyde resin, coumarin, and hydrocarbon resin.

Features:

·Excellent water resistance and chemical corrosion resistance: Since it does not contain saponifiable ester bonds, the chlorine atom bonding is very stable;

·Soluble in a variety of solvents: including commonly used cheap aromatic solvents;

·The molecular structure does not contain reactive double bonds, so it is not easily degraded by atmospheric oxidation;

·The resin is resistant to atmospheric aging, has excellent light stability, is not easy to yellow or powder, has good stability to temperature and humidity changes.

Application

Chloroether Resin MP35 is thicker thanChloroether Resin MP25  and particularly effective for anti-corrosion coatings used in marine climates. It can also be used as anti-corrosion coating for light metals such as aluminum and zinc,also can be used in the following fields:

• Heavy duty anti-corrosion coatings for industrial environments, such as plants, equipment, pipelines, storage tanks, municipal engineering, ports and docks. With its excellent water and chemical resistance, good adhesion and anti-saponification properties, it is very suitable for anti-corrosion in industrial environments.
• Heavy duty anti-corrosion coatings for ships, such as various parts of the hull, especially for parts resistant to seawater corrosion. It has excellent waterproofness, salt water resistance, outdoor weather resistance, anti-yellowing, anti-powdering and long-lasting and efficient anti-corrosion properties. The formulated coating dries quickly and is easy to use, which is of great significance in the field of anti-corrosion in the shipbuilding industry.
• Container and transportation machinery coatings, such as railway, marine, land transport containers, transportation machinery and dangerous goods tankers. It has excellent adhesion and water resistance, and can ensure the stability of the coating over a large temperature range.
• Light metal primer and topcoat. Aluminum, zinc, galvanized steel and other non-ferrous metals are difficult to paint. Ordinary synthetic resin paints cannot adhere well to these materials, and the coating will peel off from the substrate. It has good adhesion.
•  Specialized paints for bridges, marine engineering, energy engineering, etc.

Storage:

Chloroether Resin MP35 is affected by its own glass transition temperature and is prone to agglomeration in harsh storage or transportation environments such as heavy pressure, high temperature, exposure to sunlight, and humidity. it should be sealed during transportation, avoid extrusion, and avoid heat sources and humid environments.

Chloroether Resin MP35 should be stored in a cool, dry, and ventilated warehouse, and pay attention to moisture, sunlight, and high temperature.
