Silyl acrylate self-polishing resin SPSi-A100 is a high-performance binder resin developed based on advanced hydrolyzing acrylic silicone polymer technology, specifically designed for the new generation of environmentally friendly self-polishing antifouling coatings. Its precisely optimized resin structure enables controlled hydrolysis and self-polishing behavior in seawater, ensuring the continuous and stable release of antifouling agents.
SPSi-A100 is suitable for formulations containing cuprous oxide antifouling agents and can be flexibly combined with varying contents of rosin (CDP) to meet the comprehensive performance requirements of different shipping routes, vessel speeds, and service cycles. Self-polishing antifouling coatings formulated with this resin can provide approximately 5~6 years of antifouling and protective performance (the actual service life depends on the coating formulation, vessel operating conditions, and sailing areas), thereby significantly extending maintenance intervals and reducing total lifecycle maintenance costs. Meanwhile, this product system complies with stringent environmental regulations and features low VOC, demonstrating a sustainable and environmentally responsible approach while delivering excellent anticorrosion and antifouling performance.
