KBY-6881 is a high-molecular-weight wetting and dispersing agent containing pigment-affinic functional groups. It enables the preparation of corresponding resin-free pigment concentrates, significantly broadening its scope of application. It is particularly well-suited for scenarios requiring cross-system color matching or the development of universal pigment concentrates.

It’s capable of dispersing a wide range of pigments, including:

Inorganic pigments: such as titanium dioxide (R996);
Organic pigments: such as Phthalocyanine Blue (15:3), Phthalocyanine Green (PG7), Pigment Red 254 (F5RK), and Pigment Yellow 191 (PY191);
Carbon blacks: such as high-color carbon black (MA100).

Our KBY-6881 is primarily recommended for use in solvent-based, water-borne, and UV-curable inkjet inks, and has also been successfully applied in UV systems, electronic pastes, leather and textile coatings, epoxy systems, and various inks such as PVC inks and gravure printing inks. In specific systems, it can serve as one of the alternative choices to products such as BYK-9151and Solsperse24000.
