Pearlescent pigments silver white series (also classified as nacreous or special effect pigments) are platelet-based colorants that produce angle-dependent optical effects through controlled light interference. Composed of layered substrates - typically natural mica, synthetic fluorphlogopite, or silica flakes - coated with precise thicknesses of metal oxides (TiO₂, Fe₂O₃, etc.).
