Cellulose Acetate Butyrate (CAB 381-0.5) can serve as a binder for protective and decorative coatings on metals, wood, textiles, fabrics, paper, plastics, and leather. It is a widely used additive in the coatings industry.

Our Cellulose Acetate Butyrate (CAB 381-0.5) exhibits characteristics such as non-yellowing, flexibility, cold resistance, good color retention, excellent flow properties, resistance to hydrolysis, and high transparency. It significantly improves coating flow, eliminates film shrinkage, enhances solvent release, promotes pigment dispersion, improves adhesion, and increases coating hardness.
